2025 YEAR OF AWAKENING

Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.
~ Psalms  57:8-11 ~

This week's message...

Prayer Makes a Difference

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16

Many Christians often mistook that prayer is only for the eloquent or the few spiritually anointed members. They thought that the “righteous person” mentioned in James 5 means the super-spiritual or gifted in prayer. However, the Bible defines righteousness as one who has been made right with God through Christ. Therefore, all believers have the privilege and power to pray and can expect their prayers to be answered.

Prayer is powerful because God is powerful. Prayer is effective because God is faithful. We must never underestimate the impact of our prayers, knowing that God delights to work powerfully through us when we seek Him together.
