ARCHBISHOP’S MESSAGE 2026

Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, 

The Greek philosopher Heraclitus wrote that “there is nothing permanent except change.” Today we are finding ourselves living in the eye of a hurricane of change as the future hangs in the balance. From shifting global alliances to tides of cultural change, from geo-political tensions to a neo-industrial revolution, everything we once found comfort and security in seems to be groaning and shaking. The Anglican Communion has not been spared of these tremors either with the controversial election of the new Archbishop of Canterbury.
