2025 YEAR OF AWAKENING

Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.
~ Psalms  57:8-11 ~

This week's message...

Sing to the Lord

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph 5:18-20)

Singing in church is not just an act of worship; it is also a powerful expression of our faith and unity as a community. When we lift our voices together, we reflect the joy and gratitude that fills our hearts. This passage from Ephesians reminds us that singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs are ways of glorifying God in thanksgiving and encouraging one another in the Body of Christ.
