Doer of the Word

(Jesus) I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them. (John 13:15-17) 

Our Lord Jesus always models what He wants 
His disciples to do. From preaching the Kingdom of God to healing and deliverance, He would first set the example for His disciples to see and to follow. Even in humility, He showed them what it means to be a servant-leader and proved it by washing the disciples’ feet. The apostle Paul also set similar examples and encouraged the Corinthian Church, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:1)
