Blessed Mother’s Day

As Jesus looked upon His mother and the beloved disciple at the cross, He said, “Woman, here is your son,” and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that moment, the disciple welcomed Mary into his home (John 19:26-27). 

Mother’s Day is a time to reflect and give thanks for the extraordinary gift of motherhood. The Bible reminds us that our appreciation is not restricted to biological mothers, but extends to all women who nurture, guide, and love with selfless devotion, mirroring the love and compassion of God.
